Sources

Prices are read from each provider’s official pricing page, order configurator or public pricing API. No reseller listings, coupon sites or other comparison sites are used. Each provider page shows the date of the check, and each table row links to the page where the plan is ordered.

How this site works and how it is funded

• Ranking. Every table is sorted by monthly price excluding VAT, converted to euros, cheapest first. You can re-sort by any column or filter by specification and location. No other criterion is used and no listing is promoted.
• No paid placement. No provider pays to be listed, to appear higher, or to be compared. There is no contractual or ownership link between VPS Price Compare and the providers listed.
• Funding. The site does not currently earn any commission. If affiliate links are added later, they will be listed here and will never change the order of results.
• Coverage. The comparison is not exhaustive. It covers 20 providers that publish their VPS or dedicated server prices publicly, and all of their plans that could be ordered when checked. Providers that only quote on request are not listed.
• What is compared. Monthly price excluding VAT, minimum term, setup fee, renewal price, vCPU or CPU, RAM, storage, included traffic, port speed, IPv4 and order locations. Support quality, uptime and performance are not compared.

What a listed price means

• Monthly, shortest term. The price is for the shortest commitment the provider sells. When a plan requires a longer term, the Billing column shows it (for example “12-month term”).
• Excluding VAT. When a provider only publishes VAT-inclusive prices, the stated VAT rate is divided out and the plan note says so.
• Required IPv4 included. When a public IPv4 address is billed separately but needed to use the server, its cost is added to the price and noted. Plans without IPv4 by default are marked “IPv6 only”.
• Setup fees are shown separately under the billing term, not spread over the monthly price.
• Promotional prices are shown with the renewal price underneath.
• Hourly billing is marked in the Billing column; the listed monthly price is the provider’s stated monthly price or cap.

Currency

Each provider’s own currency is kept in the data. For sorting and comparison, prices are converted to euros at the European Central Bank reference rates of 4 Nov 2026 (1 EUR = 1.1267 USD, 1 EUR = 0.8346 GBP). The USD view converts from EUR at the same rates. Where the display currency differs from the provider’s, the provider’s own price is shown below the converted one.

Specifications

• vCPU is the count the provider sells; “dedicated” marks plans with dedicated (non-shared) vCPUs. For dedicated servers, physical cores and threads (C/T) and the CPU model are shown.
• Storage lists each disk group as sold, in decimal GB/TB.
• Traffic is the included monthly transfer in TB; “Unmetered” means the provider states no transfer cap. Port speed is shown when stated.
• Locations are the countries where the plan can be ordered.

Listing pages

Pages by RAM size, vCPU count, CPU model and family, country, hourly billing and unmetered traffic are generated only when at least 5 plans from at least 2 providers match, so every listing compares offers from more than one provider. Provider-vs-provider pages exist only when both providers list at least 5 plans of the same type.

Updates

The check date is recorded per provider and shown on every listing. Providers change prices without notice: confirm the price on the provider’s site before ordering.
